Jon E. Berlin
Like Lily, Jon does a little bit of everything from winemaking to sales. He was born and raised in Johannesburg, South Africa. He moved to Cape Town when he was eighteen and after a year in the Navy, spent the next ten pursuing his passion for surfing which included his own business manufacturing boards. He fell into the wine business from the restaurant business and to get his start worked seven back-to-back harvests bouncing between the Northern and Southern hemispheres, working at Flagstone, Flowers, Hamilton Russell, back to Flowers, Brokenwood, Nga Waka and Joseph Phelps. He topped it off with a post-graduate degree in Viticulture and Enology from Lincoln University in Christchurch, New Zealand.
