Lily O. Berlin
Lily does a little bit of everything from winemaking to sales. She was born in Manhattan and moved with her family to El Molino at age nine. Moving into the old ghost winery which her Great Aunt Nancy converted to a home in 1940. Ghosts abounded and child labor was never frowned upon. The was a lot to be learned in the age-old tradition of apprenticeship. After a Liberal Arts degree from Pepperdine University, she worked at Sherry Lehmann Wines & Spirits in New York City, gathering a great knowledge of fine wines and confirming that city life fell short to the charms of the country. She has traveled the wine regions of New Zealand, Australia and South Africa. She and her husband, Jon, have two young daughters, Clementine and Beatrice, who are often in tow at the winery.
