Fairly rich and ripe with a developed, rounded quality to its nose, this full-bodied, fleshy bottling has the round, soft underbelly of Pinot in its texture. Its depth and richness are clearly in evidence and notes of dried fruit and opulent oak fill in the spaces. Look for this one to mature in just a couple of years and to provide a fair bit of pleasure for another half decade after that. It wants a rack of lamb to show itself off.
